What do u say if i say that Vehicles can be made intelligent such that they can guide their drivers in situations like road accidents....traffic...etc.
Well i suppose the answer is yes....this can be possible by providing cars with sensors which will be controlled by telematics box(Box which use GSM networks to provide real time data monitoring, analysis and process control)inside the car.And the box will communicate with the driver by acting as the drivers guide.The concept of VANET first came in 1998 by team of engineers of IBM and DD electronic systems.
Now thinking practically on your own place some important applications on VANET.....
